The 9th International “Peroerikon 2009” festival has opening with a ceramony in which Georgi Pırvanov flamed the torch. The opening ceremony took place in this morning in the stone city. The performance of the rhythm group of Andrey Batashov fascinated the guests in the ceremony. The festival is going to move to the “Spartak” Sport Square tonight. Here, the Kardzhalians will have the opportunity to watch the performance of “Aramii” by Neşka Robeya. This year, there also take place some mega performances which are the concert of Yildiz Ibrahimova and the premier of the “Kozelit” directed by G. Dyulgerov. Every year, the “Golden Perperikon” award is given as a part of the festival. In the preceeding festivals Harold Pintyur, Prof. Marko Semov, Svetlin Rusev, Stefan Danailov, Yildiz Ibrahimova, Anton Donchev won this award. This year, Lili Ivanova, one of the successful pop singer of Bulgaria, is also a nominee for this award. The winner of the award is going to be given by Petar Savchov, the general manager of the festival, at 27th of June. The international “Perperikon 2009” festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Municipality of Kardzhali, Perperikon – Melpomena Union, D. Dimov DKT and some regional companies.
