This year Lili Ivanova was the one to win the great reward of the Ninth “Perperikon 2009” Arts Festival. Hundreds of fans of the artist came to watch the ceremony. Director Asen Shopov was also given a reward. Lili Ivanova said: “Songs are my life. And this place where I get this reward is wonderful. I would like to thank to the organizers of this festival and to people who introduce the history and cultural inheritance of Rhodopes”. Afterwards, signing event took place and Lili Ivanova walked around the stone city with N.Ovcharov. The assistant of Minister of Regional Development and Public works, Dimcho Mihalevski was given “Silver Perperikon” due to his contribution to development of the festival and Peperikon. Up to present the reward was given to Harold Pintir, Prof. Marko Semov, Svetlin Rusev, Stefan Danailov, Yildiz Ibrahimova, Anton Donchev and sculptor Vejdi Rashidov. The festival finished with performances of “Rodopski Far” folklore group and Vakali group and a blaze show. It was announced that Lili Ivanova would be in Kadzhali once again at 22nd of July and would perform a concert at “Spartak” sports field.
