It is planning to take charge from the visitors for the entrance to the Perperikon Archaeological Center. The amount of these fees has been identified as two Levs by the City Council Kardzhali. Today, Mayor Kırcaali Eng. Hasan Azis said that in July the City Council will determine which department of the municipality will collect this charge. According to him, the income acquired by this fee will be used for the archaeological and touristic infrastructure developments in the Municipality of Kardzhali. Considering that 250 thousand of people had visited the Perperikon in the last touristic season, the entry fee revenue will reach half a million Levs. The Mayor stated that the fees will be further less for the retired persons and the students.
