At the beginning of July six handicapped children had a holiday in Ravda. These children are members of Bulgaria Handicapped Children Association. Children went on vacation with their parents; they traveled with a vehicle provided by the Municipality of Kardzhali. Organizing the children's summer holiday is one of the important social activities of the municipality. Within four years, approximately 700-1000 students were sent to holiday. This year, despite the economic crisis money has been allocated for the holidays. In 2009 academic year, 290 students are spending their holidays in the Black Sea, in Turkey and in Greece. 60 students from the Miladinovo village even made their holiday in Ravda. Currently 40 students are in Manisa. 20 children will go t Komoti in July 28. At the beginning of August 80 students will go to the Boy Scout camp near Istanbul.
