The fourth "Art Horizons" International Art Festival, which is in the calendar of cultural programs of Ministry of Culture, will be held between 23-31 August in the in the village of Dijdovnitsa of Kardzhali Municipality. The other organizers of the activity are the Krig Art Operation, Dıjdovnitsa Headman and the Municipality of Kardzhali. In the Festival, French "Tudezaurs" Group, the painter Mario Lişevski from Berlin and "Future Shorts Bulgaria" Alternative Cinema Group will take place. The painters will work with women slippers knitters in all over the country.
The French painters are the coordinators of the project of "Border Zones" carrying between Bulgaria, Turkey and Livan from 2009 to 2010. Krig Art Operation is the Bulgarian partner of this project. The aim of the partners is to create common paintings by use of the typical signs of the writing system of civilization graphics (Latin, Cyrillic and Arabic letters).
Mario Lişevski was born in Sofia and was a disciple of Prof. Daniel Andrey. He has its own exhibitions in Berlin and Sofia.
In Dijdovnitsa, first o all "Future Shorts" Film Network will be introduced. Future Shorts is the world's largest network of short films which has new programs each month. These programs present alternative cinema, cartoons, music videos, video art to spectatos. Bulgaria is the 19th country located in the World Future Shorts network.
On August 30 (Sunday) at 10:30, the Fourth Slipper Festival will be held by the participations of the guest artists in Dijdovnitsa. Slippers knitting contest also be held during the festival event.
