American Foundation for Bulgaria is a social institute, hence non-governmental institute, according to the Laws of Massachusetts state of USA. This institute has benn active in Bulgaria since 2004. The mission of this institute is supporting the successes in education, science and arts. Every year, the institute gives grants to the students successful in different fields. The grant is for the best students of Bulgaria.
Hristo Botev Foreign Language High School is a successful school in language and science. The institute will give grants to the six students of the school for 2009-2010 academic year. Each student will take 75 Levs of scholarship each month during this nine month period.
