In the following years the citizens and the visitors of Kardzhali will be using two-level car park with a capacity of 400 vehicles. According to the Eng. Hasan Azis new technologies can be engaged in the building of the car park. During the budget discussion of 2010 it was stated that an additional financial aid of amount 1.2 million Levs would be demanded from the municipality council. This financial support will be used for marking the car park area. The idea of this parking garage occurred because of the necessity to concrete and to close the roof of the covered parking area before starting to build the “Arpezos-North” Park which will be one of the greatest parks in Bulgaria. This will be a good investment since municipality will have chance to complete the project whenever the required financial aid is provided. Using the new technology will enable to remove the soil without giving harm to the environment. According to the Mayor Kardzhali needs this covered parking area. The city is developing, the number of the people visiting the city increases each year and with the opening of the border gate “Makaza” the need for a greater parking area will emerge.
