In the 3rd National Children’s “Decko Uzunov Varisleri” Drawing Competition 12 year old student of Kardzhali - United Children’s Complex Art School, Onur Daud, won the Kazanlik “Akad. Decko Uzunov” National Arts and Design High School Art Board special prize. This is the second time that the little painter won this prize. The competition took place under the auspices of Governor of Stara Zagora, Yordan Nikolov. The presents were given by the Mayor of Kazanlik, Stefan Damyanov, on the 22nd of February at the inauguration of the gallery. The school is organizing a 3 day workshop for all children who won a present. Among the participants from 29 residential areas and 51 schools and among the 538 paintings of the participants Onur’s painting called “Landscape through the eyes of a bird” attracted the jury with its original idea and it’s color performance. Award ceremony took place in the elite arts and design school. Onur Daud and his advisor teacher Sevinc Eminova had opportunity to see the art gallery of the graduated students and the school. Onur was impressed by the divergence in designs during this visit. He set new targets in order to improve himself. Onur is 12 years old and he is attending the United Children’s Complex Art School in Kardzhali for 3 years and at the same time he is a 6th class student at P.R.Slaveykov High School.
