10 Tourism Vocational Schools will organize a competition at 26-27 February in the Hotel Arpezos. Participants from Plovdiv, Smolyan, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Momchilgrad Hignh Schools and 5 High Schools in South Central Zone will compete in the best cook, best waiters/waitresses and best bartender fields. Participant from Kardzhali who is going to compete in the best cook field improved himself during the last weeks by working in the kitchen of Hotel Perperikon. Stamen Mitrev, competitor from Kardzhali in best waiter field, won the competition that took place in his school and he will compete for the award on Saturday. Competitor from Kardzhali in the best bartender field, Antonio Hristov, who went on to the finals in the National Competition last year is going to have a surprise for the competition. On the 27th of February (Saturday) at 10.00 in Hotel Arpezos practical skills and knowledge of the school teams and individual competitors will be exposed. Representatives from Ministry of Education will initiate the competition at 9.30 and will announce the finalists who are going to participate the final in Sofia in the afternoon.
