Today, Ranilist Village N.Y.Vaptsarov Secondary School students welcomed “Baba Marta”. “Baba Mart” is famous for her whimsical character. She brings happiness and warmness when she is happy; however it becomes cold when she gets angry. Therefore children surprised her with songs and different presentations and she delivered “Martenichka” to the children. It is a tradition to light a fire and jump over this fire 3 times by looking at the sun rise on this day. All the students and their teachers jumped over the fire and wished a smile that will last all the year.
